Chapel Hill is on the west side of Reading on Lancaster Pike 5 minutes off the PA Turnpike at the US 222 exit.

The layout is a parkland design with the fairways defined by young trees as it moves over rolling terrain. It's very straightforward with broad fairways off the tee, numerous ponds and streams, and a variety of shapes and sizes of sand bunkers along the fairways and greenside. The golf course was designed by Don Holloway in the early 1990s and is short at only 6,056 yards from the tips, 69.7/125, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
