Butter Valley is between Philadelphia and Allentown on the west side of the NE Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The holes are all unique along hilly and sloping fairways with scenic views throughout the golf course. Most of the front nine is tree lined while the back side opens up a bit. It's a challenging course with a generous amount of sand bunkers mostly defending the medium sized, undulating greens. There are some quirky features though with trees in the middle of fairways, greens perched high with major runoffs or collection areas, and odd doglegs. There's even a airport in the middle of the course where occasionally planes land and take off. From the tips the course plays to 6,491 yards, par 72, 67.7/115, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
