Arizona National Golf Club is located in a scenic setting in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains adjacent to the Coronado National Forest.

The course is a desert style layout across arroyos, around rock outcroppings, and along mesquite lined fairways. There's some elevation change with the views down the valley, the mountain range, and the forests of saugaros stunning. There's water in play on several holes and a generous amount of man-made sand bunkers in addition to the natural desert at the borders. It is 6,785 yards, 72.5/143, course/slope ratings from the rear tees, with five shorter tees, and was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. in 1995.
